Just like all of the other reviews here the same thing happened to me. I was supposed to take the fast ferry from Padang Bai to Gili Trawangan at 1330. At 1345 there was no ferry and no information given. I personally had to approach the staff who said that the motor engine of all of the fast boats were broken, and that we had to take the slow ferry. It took five hours to get to Lombok with the slow ferry, then I had to take the buss to another harbour, and finally a ferry to Gili T. Even tho the fast ferry cost more than the slow ferry, I did not get a refund cause the company told me that it was expensive to reschedule my ticket from a fast- to a slow ferry. Supposed to depart from Gili air at 1115 had to depart from Lombok due to new govt rules but the boat didn't end up leaving until 1230. Scooter is 30m with car is middle of that night, with luggage and all of Uluwatu that sounds like something I want to do, especially since I have already paid for a blank car. Firstly, the journey was very bumpy which may me the same for all the boats to be fair HOWEVER 1 - the seat was super uncomfortable 2 - there is no AC they are at the back but don't work so it gets very warm not ideal for people who can feel a little sea sick 3 - unreliable for time 4 - the bags are just strapped on top of the boat 5 - we were left strajnded in the middle of the sea for over an hour as the boat had run out of fuel which the crew failed to inform us and instead locked themsleves in their cabin in order to avoid telling us what was happening. You can imagine the panic and to add to this, half the people on the boat got sick from the agotated sea.
